Amateur Drawings - The Belfry of Ganghwa Onsuri Anglican Church


This is my drawing of the belfry of Ganghwa Onsuri Anglican Church (강화 온수리 성공회 성당; 1906) in Ganghwado Island, Korea. Just by the architecture of this belfry, it is clear that the Anglican missionaries deliberately built the church in the traditional hanok (한옥) style to help attract Koreans to Christianity. If only more Korean church buildings used traditional methods!
